This special edition of The Secret of the Lighthouse includes new cover artwork and illustrations throughout by Karen Plisko. Stephen and Karen met over 30 years ago whilst teaching in Ceduna, SA. It was always Stephen’s intention to have this book illustrated and when the opportunity arose to collaborate with Karen to bring the chapters to life, he jumped at the chance.

KAREN PLISKO is both a talented musician and visual artist who calls Adelaide, South Australia home. Karen has exhibited many works as part of the SALA Festival. One of her most well-known works was the mural for the Granite Island Penguin Visitor Centre, Victor Harbour. When not creating artwork Karen enjoys singing and playing guitar, and performing live gigs around the state.
